hi, WE HAVE FOUND DAMP ON THE FLOOR of OUR 4 YEAR OLD BAILEY CARAVAN ITS COMING FROM THE BATHROOM INTO THE BEDROOM AREA, BAILEY WONT HELP US THEY SAY WE DIDNT CARRY ON WITH THE WARRENTY, ANYONE KNOW IF WE CAN MEND THIS OURSELVES AS WE HAVE BEEN QUOTED £3250, IT IS FULLY SERVICED BY OUR LOCAL MAN, THANKS FOR ANY HELP FROM YOU GUYS,

Provided you can see where the water is getting in outside of body it will be a simple matter to seal it with PU sealant. Once you have done that the interior should dry out. Worth a try before you spend £1000s getting a proper job done. The wizard site is about repairing older caravans with mostly wood construction under skin. Modern caravans are not built like that so provided you can seal the leak from the outside it should do the job.

Hi, our 2014 unicorn had the same issue. If you use your shower like us. I'd suggest removing the whole unit and shower tray life the corner of the lino flooring use a dehumidifier and heater to dry the wood, then we painted on a wood hardener for good measure. Then refit it all. I left or Lino up for 4 weeks with constant dehumidifier. Refitted and not had any further issues. It was caused by 2 inches of missing sealant and the middle part of the compartment with the shower valve being incorrectly fitted.
If you think it's a roof sealant issues you should notice a water line running from the roofline to the floor inside the van. We also had this issue. Throughly cleaned the roof to find a gap on the rear roof trim. Open the gap a bit cleaned out with meths and the applied silkaflex.
I did this work myself 2yrs ago and the van is still nice and dry.

Sikaflex 512 or any other brand of polyurethane sealant/adhesive is the stuff to use. Choose a sunny morning with no rain forecast for day to apply it. Stuff skins over & starts going off in less than an hour. Clean area with meths first.

Our 2012 model leaked or flooded in the bathroom . It was done on warranty . Most service places would be ale to help I think they know about it . One problem in the bathroom area was around the toilet water fill area hadn't been sealed correctly . Another was the seals that I think run. Down the side panels needed re sealing . Go to your nearest bails dealer and ask if they know about it or can help also ask for a quote to do it .
We never used the shower .
Sorry I've just noticed you have had a quote . Try somewhere else. If not, like us in the end we sold it . It was cheaper to sell or change it . We part exchanged it we didn't want to sell it privately .

Sorry I should have said keep trying Bailey just keep on . We had ours serviced from new and every year and it leaked . So don't let them fob you off with not having a warranty service just keep writing to them . They build these vans and we had ours repaired for water ingress every year from new . Just keep on to them did you buy it private .
The service doesn't prevent leaks it just shows damp . Ours wasn't damp it was very wet . Our service never found any of it .

There was also a problem with the toilet cassette door seals. Check that too.

Agree with checking the toilet cassette door. Remove the cassette and see if the base is full of water. if so probably the door seal. Ours flooded half the van in days due to poor fitting seal during driving rain.
