Going to give the caravan a good clean and then wanting to apply a good coat or two of polish to resist muck and help keep it in good condition over the winter. Does anyone have any good recommendations on polish for caravans, or will any decent car stuff do? I have some Mer which is pretty good stuff, or is there something far better that everyone is using? Preferably something safe to use on the windows and other plastics too if possible.

Got some Autoglym super resin polish in the garage.

Will be using that first...

But then once that's ran out.

I'm going to try stuff from these guys...

Mer is as good as any easy on, easy off and offers good protection. I do mine Easter and September.

If you already have Mer just stick with it, no point in having a product for the car and one for your caravan.
As for the plastic, Vuplex is the mutts nuts.

I use Fenwicks overwintering occasionally over winter, I wouldn't claim its the best or the cheapest but it does the job.

Couldn't see a difference between where I had and hadn't been...???

Sounds daft, but in a few weeks time, I might wash the van again, but this time follow with a 'wax' polish / finish...
