Fridge lights on gas but will not stay lit is it possible to replace thermocouple?

It might not be the thermocouple and could just be a blocked jet. I had the same problem earlier this year thinking it was the thermocouple needed replacing but when the caravan was serviced it was found to just a blocked jet which the engineer cleaned it at no extra charge. If I had bought a new thermocouple I would have wasted the best part of 25 quid.

I haven't got a clue, that's why I leave it to the experts and have the caravan serviced anually as I'm reluctant to tinker about with gas components anyway.

My fridge is a Dometic, the manual advises that the gas burner must be inspected and cleaned at least once per year. When using tank or refill the maintenance interval is reduced to half yearly or quarterly.I have a qualified engineer to do this (only annually with the van service), however if you look on you tube there are videos showing how others have cleaned the jet. Personally I wouldn't touch it.
