Hi all, I have a whale block pump and an inlet housing which has a built in pressure switch but I also have a white inline pressure switch about 18" away from the inlet housing, it's always worked fine, having two switches is that normal, any advice appreciated
It should be one or the other, otherwise setting up the switches will be interesting. Its often easier to use the inline one as this tends to be more accessible, and easier to adjust.
Hi chrisn7, is the whale pressure switch valve normally open, so if I disconnect the wires from the back of the whale pressure switch it won't cause a problem, thanks again
The sidewall connector block must have a 12v power supply and earth wire to drive the Aquaroll pump. The supply will be from either of your pressure switches or even both. I think you will need to trace the wiring to see what the set up is.
I going back later to check but I do recall the back of the inlet housing there's a blue cap, not a screw to adjust pressure (unless it's under the cap) so it may not be a pressure switch, just an inlet housing, not sure.
