I have a Fleetwood with the pump in the header tank.
When we bought the caravan a month ago, when we picked it up the seller, that day, had to buy a new pump, knowing we would want to see everything working and it was
However, got home with the van and the pump does not come on at all.
I am used to these pumps from our motorhoming days and was used to replacing the Heading Tank pump every 18 months (we used to keep the motorhome always ON, even when not in use and we were planning to do the same with the caravan.
The pump is under guarantee but i have never had a failure of a new pump before.
So I am thinking the problem is else where.
Does anyone know if the pump is separately fused and if so is it on the main board?
Even if there is air in the system, which there shouldn't be on the basis the seller bleed the system just before we arrived and even so, I believe the pump carries on spinning around even if there is a air lock in the system
Not sure what boiler is on that van but I know in the newer Alde boilers there’s one possibly two fuses on the boiler pcb board. If you’ve got a multimeter you can check to see if you have voltage at the pump connections etc
Alde control panels don't usually come with battery back up for the panel settings, unless retro fitted by an owner, so once powered down settings are lost.
