I have purchased an Avondale 4/5 berth early 90s van, [now wished i hadnt], its full of cancer in the end bedroom, so much for so called honesty.?
Any how, i wish to strip all boarding, and damp styrene including wood, all of which is rotten which will not leave much left to remove!!.I understand it is said to do a section at a time due to stability, that being the case, is there a position best to start at, and what are the best glues, adheisives, etc to use, and how to use them.?. Plz.

Mabel I/misterge, Thank you for your input. All that has been suggested has been done, to date. The floor is only rotten to a point in the two rear end bedroom corners about 12” each way, I think someone has had a problem before, and replaced. To date the left/ right/rear/ and roof along with the rotten inner timber has been taken out. I have ordered panels, styrene, glues, after checking further this afternoon I found what I think is the leak problem, the the seal between the rear roof panels where the awning rail is screwed to the inner timbers has been leaking on both sides along with the rear end roof deflected attachment also has been leaking.
I have had to take the awning rail off to the centre point, and will also do the other side to resell all seals, but, I couldn’t get the rail off without damaging it, rusty screws, now I can’t find the same style awning rail, and wondered if I had to remove all of it to replace with another type, also is it a problem to shape the awning, or is there a ‘ trick’ in doing this.?
