Hi folks - I am looking to adapt / change one of the sockets in my Sterling Europa 'van - I want to do away with the 12Volt / Antenna part and replace with another 3 pin 240Volt socket - any ideas what make these are and who stocks them please?
Thanks

Why do away with the 12v socket.
Just drill another hole for the extra 240v socket and replace the single with a double.
Make sure the wires at the back are well out of the way before you drill and, it goes without saying, that the power is off.

I never use the 12Volt - the van is on a seasonal pitch so always rigged up to the mains. The Volt is in just the right place for me to wire in a new stereo though. Happy days!

Be aware that if you make any alterations from the standard fitment you have to inform your insurance and provide details as necessary. Failing to this could unfortunatley be the loss of a pay out in a claim.
When you order the parts, be very careful to select the correct ones. Sounds obvious, I know, but look carefully at the single socket and note it has straight sides and curved top and bottom. Certain trim colours like silver and nickel are very similar in on line images too.
