must have left battery box door unlocked dropped down and broke bottom hinge blocks can new door and surround be fitted

Welcome . ( been there, done that) What you have done is quite common and is part of becoming a professional caravanner. Next you will drive off with the jockey wheel down.

The box is replaceable but be careful. They vary in dimension and some, like ours, are in one complete piece rather than box and door seperate.

First time it happened to me it cost £180 to be fitted, second time I have used Gorilla clue to secure it (more or less!)

Or, you could always drive off when parked up with the breakaway cable still attached. Even after all these years we still do daft tricks like I did last week.
