Hi im looking for information on materials to rebuild a abi jubilee viceroy, it has some outer panel damage and the inside was guteed, i picked this up for free and it still towed :) i need to know what wood sealent and metal i would need to use, the outer panel is my main concern will add some photos when i can to show the damage to get some advice
Just to add im not adding a kitchen/shower back just a space for a portable toilet and bedding / sofa area and a space for a camping stove, rebuilding to just use as a place to sleep on holidays
Try clicking on the image symbol above the message box and pasting the URL of the picture, or if that doesn't work try adding the photos to your Profile Gallery.
(
Above should have worked but reader needs to right-click on the symbol then left-click on View Image - which does work for the ones you've retried.)
I think plenty would see that as beyond viable repair but if you want to have a go then materials to use are sheet alloy to cover holes in outside. For gluing everything together & sealing the outside the stuff to use is polyurethane sealant/adhesive. Brand names such as Sikaflex 512 or Tigerseal etc.
I have my eye on 12 bottles of sikaflex 512 atm, would you recommend pop rivets to give it a better fit? Will update with pics when i progress through the build
