One burner out of four is giving a strongly yellow coloured flame; the others are normal. Propane operating in a 1990 ABI.
My own thoughts are debris, possibly as a result of poor cleaning. But I don't seem able to remove the top for inspection/more thorough cleaning.
All suggestions are welcome . . .

You don't say make of hotplate, if you can't take off burner top it's probably the one that has the burner that looks like a large smokers pipe. If it is Look under hotplate burner is held in place by large W clip with one end hooked on end of gas valve. If so remove clip and lift burner out through the top and blow back through burner cap if possible with an airline to clear the tube. Hope this helps.
