I want to replace the front of the battery box on my Vision 450/2 but not sure how to remove the hinge pins. They have a little raised piece at the end which stops the pin from retracting but I can`t fathom how to get it out without breaking it. Any ideas please.
If it's a Thetford battery box like mine each pin look a bit like a plastic nail and have a 'T' shaped piece at one end and a point at the other, if this is the case, just push the pointed end in towards the hinge mechanism itself or pull thr T piece along it's length. It should suddenly move out of it's fixed position in the housing and continue to slide out through the hinge.
Slacken each one first then remove the pins one at a time and the door is free, refit in reverse order.

Thanks for your suggestion Dave I have eventually managed. The hinge pins only move a fraction of an inch and will go no further until you let the front door open completely ( hanging down) and then you can fully retract the pins.
