My brothers van has what we believe is an inlet for a Carver Crystal 3 pump and he needs a replacement. I've scoured high and low to try and find either a new or used pump but with no success. I believe these were discontinued after a short while and the recommendation seems to be that the pump fixing/fitting plate on the van needs to be replaced using an ultraflow conversion kit.
The kit is around £50 so before I give him the go ahead to buy this can anybody confirm if this is right course of action or anybody else have any experience of having to do the same thing?
I have a brand new one which is the same as the Mark 2, it has never been out the bag or used, I bought it for my Pennine Pullman but sold the camper so did not need it
I've uploaded a picture to my gallery of the pump/water inlet on the van if you can confirm that it looks to be the right one?
If it is a crystal type pump and you have one available he'd happily purchase it from you if you have no use for it! :)
We live in Leicester and I can see you're in Warwick so collecting wouldn't be an issue, alternatively I work in Coventry so could even collect one day when I'm in the office.
Hi Nero1001 I can’t tell from the picture as the ukcampite logo is across it, I am away until tomorrow, I live in Rugby so that would be on your way home from work.
Thanks kpnuts81 - Having had a look I don't think that is the right one either so have no idea what pump fits his van! Looks like he's going to have to get the conversion kit instead. Thanks for all your help!
