I have an elderly Sprite i have found a patch of floor that is soft, I understand it's caused by damp etc, the Caravan is worth very little, but it suits us very well. Can I fit a new floor on top of the old one, obviously putting in a membrane. I know there are repaid places that (I think) can fill the existing floor boards with some sort of glue, but I'm afraid it will cost more than I paid in the first place!!
Thanks for the reply, the 'can is dry inside. It is 25yes old and I suspect the floor has just absorbed moisture from underneath. I know that re flooring isn't ideal, but is it possible.
Look up delamination, there is a lot of information in the repairs section. Repair kits are available and as long as you can do a bit of diy you can sort this out fairly cheaply.
