Hi we have recently purchased a 2015 swift duette classic caravan but cannot run the caravan off the leisure battery. I can use the battery to use the mover . Is there a simple fix before I book it back into the dealer ? Thank you
Hi Rob we only picked the van up on the 6th of this month and went away for a few days . I did try that switch as at 1st I couldn't get the power on at all and it came on off the mains then. I will be having a good look at it at the weekend and try that button again. Thank you for your help
Thanks. No nothing I could not get any power from the sergeant board. . I will be going to the van at the weekend and try the switch that rob mentioned
The motor mover has it's own switch and 12 volt electrical circuit direct to the leisure battery anyway so shouldn't be linked so it has to be a simple problem such as a switch not being ON somewhere to activate the 12 volt power.
Not familiar with a 2015 model, but on our 2011 Swift you have to activate the switch on the Power supply Unit, AND that in the control panel over the door.
Check the main 20 amp fuse located within 500mm of the battery - often tucked away behind the battery box in case it has blown or been removed pending the sale.
tend to agree with tango,if your motor mover worked nothing wrong with battery, shoud have a switch to shut down motor mover in order to work 12 volt system in van,our switch is next to the hookup,it stops you using 12 volt until you turn switch the power off to motor mover,
