thinking of laying carpet tiles down in our tourer....don't know if i should lay them on original carpet or lift the carpet (it's stuck down)??.....anyone tried this
I think it's a much better alternative to laminate flooring actually as you can lift up one square tile and replace it if neccessary. However, they are quite hard under foot so I would be tempted to lay them on top of the original carpet first and see if they lie flat. If they don't then all you have to do is rip up the existing carpet and just put the square tiles back down onto the wooden floor.
