Mine was the plastic shower screen moving in the frame. Just the slightest of pressure on the (otherwise stable) floor caused a tiny movement. Took me about 3 years to find it and solve it with a tiny piece of foam packed between the two surfaces.

caravan floors are usually made of two pieces of ply with polystyrene between, all bonded together to make one strong piece. If the bonding has failed in one area this would probably give your symptoms. This usually occurs in high traffic areas, entrance door, in front of cooker etc. There are lots of youtube videos on how to carry out repairs.

Hi thanks for your posts. Had another area and this area injected from underneath.
The creaking improved but still remained. So I read on another forum that loose floor bolts underneath the caravan can cause movement of the floor boards in particular the centre one on the axle in the middle of the caravan.
Today I went down and tightened the centre bolt a couple of turns and it has made a massive difference to the creaking and the creaking is near enough gone.
But it wasn't remotely tight and have read it can indicate a problem if the bolt needs too many turns.
So my question is do I keep going turning the nut. The amount of bolt sticking out the nut (in middle of caravan) is significantly less than the chassis bolts running down either side. Should they be roughly the same and is this how I gauge it?
Anyone one who knows about this please confirm?
My caravan is a 1999 so 20 years old so please take this into consideration.
