Hi all
Had a little mishap with an awning pole and the fly screen mesh on my roof vent, needless to say I had a big rip in the mesh and another problem to resolve.
Searched Ebay for a replacement vent screen and couldn't find one that matched the dimensions, so decided to have a go at fitting the mesh to my existing screen.
Found this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quality-Fibreglass-Screen-Mesh-Net-Insect-Fly-Mosquito-........ and ordered 40cm x 80cm for the princely sum of £1.99, I removed the old mesh and dressed off the edging on the screen housing. I then placed the mesh over the housing and secured it with clothes pegs on one side, I then applied FloPlast Solvent cement that I already had in my van and pasted on over the mesh where it touched the housing with a small hobby brush and left it to dry.
It's as good as new now and looking good
