Hi, again helpful folk. Having removed as much rotted timber from around the front windows as poss at this stage, I am faced with some remnants of wood behind the top shelf which at the moment I am trying to avoid removing, although I may need to reconsider this decision, there remains a cavity between the roof,/ ceiling,/front panel, which I need to fill with something that I can later screw into from the exterior when refixing the front external joining rail. Has anyone used 'fixfoam' expanding foam in this application? I am a little nervous as during my working life in the Building Trade I have witnessed some catastrophe's with this product when used in the wrong applications. I am hoping that someone here has some alternative suggestions for a suitable product, or do I have to bite the bullet and remove the previously mentioned top shelf and totaly replace the lenght of 3x1 timber.?
