240v Electric not working,12v is Ie fan blowing air no trips gone or fuses blown checked plug on back of unit seems ok but can not remove it to check for power,
Its very difficult to access the rear of heater only way is by removing a drawer,Any ideas?.

Hi, dependent on year/model on the rear of the heater there is a black cowling which houses the fan on the left side of this is a finger of the plastic housing approx 3 in X 1/2 in this is cut around three sides if you press on this it resets overheat switch. We had this problem often tripping out, caused by flaps on blowair vents preventing enough air through so I removed one of ours. Also make sure the seperate 240v switch for heater is on. I also now run it on fan only after switching off to cool it down for a few minutes and ours hasn't tripped overheat switch since.

Excellent advice from Albee but yes you will have to remove the drawer but should only be two screws in inside the draw.

Thanks to all who responded to my post,
I have found the problem, the guy who wired the heater had gripped on the neutral insulation at the switch this had worked loose so no contact,
All sorted now
