Best way to do this is to get hold of some old ABS panelling, and cut into small strips. Then get hold of some Acetone, and cover these strips with Acetone.
The Acetone will disolve the ABS panel creating an ABS glue type resin, which is similar,to Honey or Treacle in consistency.
Then use this to Glue your new panel or piece in place.
