The side locker that I use for storage had only the forward lock catching. I attempted a repair on the other lock which was overly successful, in so much, that when I closed the locker it held firm and I now cannot open it.
Any suggestions would be more than appreciated.
The caravan is 2005 Sprite Accord 480

Hi, I guess you have made it too tight, try pushing it in whilst turning catch, if that fails try bashing with your hand as you try turning catch. That is of course that access cannot be gained from inside caravan.

As Albee says, push the button and the lock surround at the same time and then release pressure on the surrounding area whilst keeping the button depressed.
My battery box has been like it since new.

Thanks for your suggestions. I finally succeeded. The hinges for the locker comprises of a nylon pin going through. I used a Stanley knife between the hinge to cut these which then allowed the locker door to come away. The nylon pins were replaced with similar diameter welding rod. I readjusted the catch and hey presto job done.
I hope this will be of use to others.
