Ok, we have manged to remove the awning rail and have found lots of rotting wood :( Spent all day yesterday literally hoovering it up as it was almost dust. It seems to be the frame. Looked at the Wizard and we will give it a go to replace as I guess we have nothing to loose. I have uploaded some new photos. I will investigate further tonight. Any advice would be appreciated; such as what kind of wood, some of the holes in the aluminium are old, is there anything you can put on it to strengthen it? Feeling a bit deflated tbh :(
