Hi I have enduro mover on my caravan. Put the van on drive yday and it stopped working. We replaced the leisure battery and the battery in the remote control but no luck. When we turn the isolator switch to on the lights flash on for half a second on the unit under the seat but don’t stay on hence the motor not working. Any ideas and thanks in advance Neil.

Is the motor actually working and the rollers not spinning or is it totally silent with no power at all?

The mover isn’t working at all the lights flash on for half a second on the control box that it when I turn on the isolator. It was working then suddenly gave up. I thought it may have been the battery but the one in the caravan and handset have both been replaced with new.

We have similar problem with our Powrtouch,
The caravan battery is fully charged, the battery in the handset has been changed,
Both the control box light and the handset lights come on.
When the isolation key is turned it gives resistance, but when the handset is pressed a red light comes on and nothing happens!

The rollers don’t move.

The mobile engineer is coming to look at it for us, hopefully it can be made to work.
Will let you know what he finds.

We originally had an Enduro before our Powrtouch. We had this same problem. Put a test meter on in input terminals and measure voltage. Ours when switching isolator switch on lights gave a flick, volts then dropped to only 6 volts and lights went off. Found it was the isolator switch faulty. I replaced it and no more problems.

When I previously asked if the motor was working with no spinning rollers or totally silent, I was trying to identify whether it was a mechanical fault or an elecrical one. You replied saying that the motor wasn't working at all which proves it's an electrical problem and after reading the above post by birdman101 I would be very much inclined to think that could very well be your problem.

Thank you for your input I will give this a try even though the paper work that came with the van says the isolator switch was replaced two years ago. You never know. I was thinking the same about this switch being faulty. Many thanks again.

If isolator switch already replaced 2 years ago I'd suspect it's gone again as it can't handle the current. Try and source a better quality one this time if possible.

Also if you can gain access to short it out, it should come on as normal, that would tell whether it's the switch or not.
