Hi I have found a small leak in the side window of the caravan. It seamed to be collecting at the bottom of the grooves where the blinds go up and down and also found some on the seal at the bottom of window. Any ideas how to maybe fix this problem or find the ingress or is this a job for a caravan engineer to solve. This is all new to me as it’s my first van and only had it couple of weeks. Many thanks.
I found that one of my front side windows had delaminated along one side and at the bottom edge this year. I cleaned it and sealed it back up again with a specialist glue for hard plastic.
I have also had water sitting in the window rubber at the base of the same window some time before the above, it turned out to be a blob of moss that was growing on the top rail which got stuck in between the window and the sealing rubber, it was solved by cleaning out all the grot that had accumilated up there in 10 years.
Check all around the window rubbers to make sure they are still well sealed to the bodywork outside.
Dave.

I had a leak on the front window of a previous van, I lubricated the rubber seal and this cured it. The rubber had hardened, I now lubricate all the seals with Halfords Silicone spray every year.
Might be worth a try.
