Yeah that makes alot of sense. Im used to working with with 12v or 230v not a mix so will need to get used to it. Thank you for all of your help!

Thanks folks and yes this was a first for me, I'd mentioned checking the various methods truma used for their 240v connections, but none of them in this van?, damn things got a simple socket and 3pin plug!!
