Whereabouts, inside, underneath? Could be getting in from the grab handles maybe, do a bit of searching and investigating before committing your £500, could be a real easy fix if no structural damage.

not the point tho, if you sell anything with a warranty on it then the whole point is that your covering the cost of listed repairs, you don't put any limits on the value of the work your prepared to do, esp for damp, as that can become very expensive due to being hidden. so your either cover the cost fully or you don't, what you don't do is get the customer to pay for anything over £500 which is basically saying if it takes longer than a day to sort it then your getting charged, which any decent damp repair will take longer than a day to complete. who did you buy the caravan from and how long have you had it?

oh I would suggest that you get it independently damp tested, get a mobile guy to come and see the caravan and see what he finds, don't mention about the dealer saying it has damp in it

I think you should be talking to trading standards aswell. ok no name but can you give their location? wouldn't be the one in Glossop by any chance would it?
