just thought I would pass on this tip for draining down caravan for winter.
I use a ready-mixed car windscreen solution I flush the kitchen sink/bathroom/shower with this solution as soon as it runs out of the waste that's it job done. you do not have to worry about it freezing and you do not have to worry about it damaging your pipes or seals.i also use it in the toilet header tank. but be aware do not use this on your freshwater system

so your putting it down your caravan drain pipes and thinking that is going to help????? as there is no u bend and all waste pipes have a clear run to drain out the back of the caravan then it seems a bit pointless and a total waste of screen wash, I have never worried about my waste pipes freezing up when the caravan is in storage, and as we drain all water from the caravan no matter what time of the year and leave all taps in an open position and shower head on the floor, the toilet is easy to drain too, either from the pipe in the external door or simply running the pump on the flush till no more water comes out. then all water is removed and never had a problem in all the years I have been caravanning
