Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please. One of the hinges to the front gas locker on my brother in-law’s caravan has snapped.                                                                          
                                                                                         The van is a Lunar Ultima 524. 2016 model. The part that is broken is the long flat piece, that is shaped at the end to match the gas locker door, (see 3 pictures below).       
                                                                                         
Any help or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance, Tony.

As these hinges will have been bought in by Lunar not made by them is there a maker's name stamped on them. If so just do a Google search on them.

Don’t expect any help from Lunar Automotive who have decreed that they won’t countenance any warranty claims on vans older than 2017

Thanks Birdman 101, I didnt notice any number when he showed it to me when we last went over, but I didnt look that close as he said he already had pictures, I will ask him to check, as we live a good 15 miles away.

David 8858, Yes I know what you mean. Scandalous that they are not made to provide a supply of parts, for a limited period, like I believe the car manufacturrers are.

Have you tried a call to Leisure Shop Direct? They are normally very good at supplying parts. As Birdman says it is unlikely that these hinges will have been made specifically for that model caravan.
