Hi all, I am trying to buy the male connector that fits in the gas pipe and connects BBQ to the external gas point on the caravan..I sent away for one but it does not fit..I own a bailey Madrid 2016 ..the male I bought was for post 2004 caravans do I need the pre 2004 version or do bailey do a specific part..I'm fairly sure it's a trauma gas point..any help would be appreciated...thanks

My caravan is a Coachman 2004 model and wondered which one I needed as it was the year that they changed over from the old type fitting to the new so wasn't sure which I needed. I contacted Kenmore Caravans as they are Coachman dealers and it turned out that mine was fitted with the old one as they knew exactly by the design which I think was something to do with the flip cover. However, yours should be the post 2004 fitting on a 2016 which makes me wonder if they have sent the wrong one.

Have a look here and you will see the two types of connector.

You should also be able to identify what the gas tap is.

Hi the post 2004 version is definitely the one I have been sent, so maybe I require the pre 2004.. I'm going to send for one and hope for the best.. Thanks for your replies..

I believe it's Bullfinch connector for a Bailey.
