I have a problem with the roof in my Sterling Europa 520 2001. In high winds the roof flexes and booms a bit like a wobble board. Are the roofs in this model floating or bonded to the battens. Is there an easy fix for this problem. I'm tempted to drill holes through roof liner in cupboards and inject expanding foam into the void to to stop the roof slamming and booming. Do any of you fellow caravanners have any good ideas how to fix this it seems to be getting steadily worse

We had a Europa of that era we bought new. The roof is not bonded and was a common ocurrance in high winds. The next one we bought new had gone over to bonded roofs. I would be wary of putting expanded foam in as it expands over a period of days after setting and is liable to push roof lining downwards or roof upwards.
