Found this hole in my van this week. I’m sure it wasn’t there 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions on bodywork repairs near high Wycombe or ways to do it myself. It’s a 2011 lunar quasar in otherwise good condition.
You probably can't get at it from the rear to knock out the dents a bit so it's a case of cleaning the paint off it and filling with something like Isopon P38, sanding smooth, etc, in many ways similar to a car body repair but it's on aluminium so a little bit more complicated, an etch primer is usually needed.
I, unfortunately, had occasion to need this on my dented door last year. Etch primer, a base coat, and lacquer will have it as good as new but colour matching could be an issue so seek help with this.

Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for a whole weekend.
It’s in a local storage site, not had a problem before, it could be from a rock flicked up when they cut the grass. Top part goes all the way through the aluminium hence need to repair to prevent water ingress.
can you take a pic of it from a bit further back, i dont think thats got anything to do with a stone, has the caravan next to been off out anywhere? is there anything on that caravan at the same height to do that?
ok well something has definately hit it and i dont think its a stone going by the markings
if you had a caravan parked next to it then i would have said its been hit when they removed the wheel clamp.
repair wise? you could claim on your insurance, which they would replace the whole lower panel, or if going down the diy route filler they spray it and then perhaps a reflector just incase its not 100% perfect, but for now i would get it covered and sealed with waterproof tape to make sure no rain gets in it
