Hi. Are both taps not working? If so I doubt whether it's a microswitch as they don't generally both pack up at exactly the same time. It's more likely to be a connection that has broken somewhere. If only one tap isn't working then it is quite likely to be the microswitch. If it is a Whale tap, probably the most common, they are readily available on ebay. I would recommend Kenmore Caravans, as they are very helpful, or your local caravan dealer if you have one nearby.
The microswitches on Whale taps are very easy to replace once you have the tap out, but that might not be so easy depending on the caravan. With some other makes of taps though, the micoswitches are integral and the whole tap has to be replaced.
