Hi, we are after any advice regarding the door fly screen on our 2011 Lunar Quasar 544 that needs replacing (it’s a spring-tensioned type screen). My husband has tried searching the internet for a replacement, to be directed back to Lunar dealers, but has had no response, including telephoning and trying to order on line. Other forums have suggested that Lunar only replace parts on caravans up to 5 years old. Does anyone know where we may be able to obtain a replacement, or source another flyscreen that will fit. Many thanks.

there are at least 9 on ebay, just search for caravan flyscreen door and they will come up.

we dont use ours, its a pain, as our dogs are used to the ones we have at home which are magnetic so they expect the same from the caravan one and risk ripping it, so i replace the caravan using the magnetic ones too and you can walk thr those and it closes behind you

I would probably get the exact make and model of the fly screen and get in touch with a breakers.

Thanks Marg6 and blueexpo97, I think he was hoping to buy new one...We are going to be selling our caravan in the next year or two, so we was hoping to get a genuine one. Having never done any proper caravan alterations before, I don’t think he’s fully sure of what is likely to fit and look good/original. I’ll tell him to check breakers too, thanks.
