Hi need some help, I have a Lunar Quasar 674 2018 year, I had a minor bump with a brick wall and caused damage to approx 4” on the rear near side awning rail.
I have tried numerous dealers who were Lunar dealers, and no one has got an awning rail, and one has said they have over 300 requests and they are having no luck with any contact.
Caravan dealers are off the belief, Lunar will not start back up.
I have also contacted 5 caravan breakers, no one has any spare rail, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Awning rail is only aluminium so fairly soft, 4 inches of crushed awning channel damage may be recoverable. It may not look pretty but it may work fine. If it's not too badly damaged could the channel be opened up and repaired with an expansion tool?

Dave.

Hi Dave it was pretty squashed flat, I have managed to get it back into some sort of shape , but it’s not looking very good at all, I was hoping someone , on the chat had a spare piece of rail they wanted to sell , so I could do a proper job on it

As you live in Burton, you aren't far away from Hilton on the A50. At the rear of Don Amott's, there is a great company that helped me out with some wallboard for my wall and ceiling damp fix, that what they do all the time, mostly for dealerships. They are doing awning rail fixes daily so pop in and see what they can do for you, they are called ACS, Advanced Caravan Services, here is a link. Good luck

Dave.
