Just got this van with cascade 2. It fires up but immediately goes out. Seems to be rust around the burner but I can't really get to it as it has that little cover with tiny holes in. Is there any way that I can get into it properly please to check? There used to be a guy called Gary on to help but he seems to have disappeared.

How did you get on with the email? i have a mk2 heater not working too, fires up, but no heat?

going to test it this weeek with water as well to see what is going on?

let me know how you got on .

Hi. Yep brill. The burner was very rusty and fell to bits on the way to the site. So contacted Gary. He was very helpful. I had to take the burner out (he told me how) posted It off and it was back in 2 days! All fixed £110.

You must have the heater full of water first and all the air bled out before you fire it up. I'm not certain, but I don't think they work without being full of water.
