It looks like a security headed screw, suppliers such as Screwfix sell sets of bits that might include this sort.
Have you tried loosening it using two small screwdrivers? You might be able to grip it with a mole wrench to remove it and then replace with a pozi drive screw if you don't want this hassle again.
This is not a screw, it's a special type of pop rivet called a tri-fold rivet, they have 3 weakened groves along the shaft of the rivet, these split and fold back on themselves to provide a much stronger hold due to the spread, than conventional ones that could pull through the thin ply.
I had to replace some of these when removing my overhead locker to do the damp repair. I sourced them from on-line.

My set of security screwdrivers has 3 different sizes that are the same as your picture.I cant see the logic in having a slotted head if you can't unscrew them.

It's just ba rivet so it expands behind the wallboard. If there had been a wooden batten they would and do use screws to fix the brackets. It's amazing just how flimsy stuff is in a caravan structure, that's why in an accident they just fly apart but it's all to save weight (and money).

Thanks dave, Ive started the board removal, but weve gone into tier4 now, and the van is 20 miles away!
Still, as long as we are all here at the end of it, and can actually use our caravans, all will be good. Please keep us updated on your progress when you can eventually resume the work.

Only managed to use the van once this year due to this Virus and local restrictions, thats where we noticed the damp, on the front roof strap!! but due to distance away, weather at the time and the present situation, ive only sealed the leak for now, not removed the strap etc, looks like weve caught it in time, the wood is ok,
