HI All
I have a bailey Pageant Auvergne 2005 that has a crack in the fromt ABS panel from the roof appx 10" long
Is it worth repairing it or selling it for scrap?
The inside is immaculate no damp or soft spots.
It is a 15 year old caravan. The repair does not have to be perfect it just needs to stop the water getting in. Sticking gaffer tape over the crack would do that.
Obviously there will be a neater solution using a compatible glue or sealant but to make it waterproof there is no point in spending a large amount when there is cheap diy method.
As said it can be repaired and if there is no internal damage I would do just that.
Quite how much money or invisible the actual job looks afterwards is up to you and your pocket. As Jim Oldham says, instead of using gaffer tape, you could use some clear Gorilla tape, it's waterproof and will be less obvious as a cheap repair. At the other extreme, you could spend a lot more money and have it professionally welded but due to the age, it may not warrant it.

Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for a whole weekend.
Captain Tolleys crack repair stuff is meant to be good. Try running some into the crack itself before taping over (its transparent as well). Ideally you don't want it going any further down..
