Hi all,my Thetford fridge shelves are becoming quite rusty,do you have any suggestions on how to strip and paint them?ie food safe paint or plasti paint?

Have you tried an electroplating company to re chrome them, may be easier.

maybe cheaper to buy a new one you can get adjustable fridge shelves from amazon for about £10

If they are the white plastic coated shelves and the rust is where the plastic has cracked you could try spraying them with Plasticote to reseal them rather than trying to remove and recoat the plastic.
