The pumps Craig mentioned should work on 12volts, the fact that it has blown fuses and now doesn't do anything could suggest a jammed rotor but it have done a bit more damage.
I would suggest a voltmeter to check for voltage to it, but disconnect it from the circuit for now until you csn establish a feed, then try the pump and see what it does. Is the pump external, (in the aquaroll) or mounted in the van?
