Hi need a bit of advice, I have lost all my 12v system in the van, including, water pump most of the lighting and the heater fan and the fridge isn't working on any power source 12v 230v or gas, have checked all the fuses and they seam fine.have done some continuity check to the pump and seams OK ( tested pump on a spare battery and it works OK) can you tell me if the mcb switches the 230v down to 12v and does the work the 12v system. I'm thinking if and may be that side of the mcb has blown.
The MCB switches are the circuit protection for the 240 volt mains supply only and nothing to do with the 12 volt system. The 12 volt system is protected by the fuses which have no relation with the mains supply at all. The only connection between the two circuits is the onboard charger which is also known as a transformer due to the fact that it transforms 230 volts down to around 14 volts which charges the 12 volt battery. If you have lost all 12 volt power it could be that the related 12 volt switch isn't switched to VAN or the battery in circuit or has no charge.
Is your MCB switch in the up position for on ? Down is for off. If MCB trips switch will be down. Do you have 240v into caravan ok. Are the 240v sockets working ok ? I think some modern fridges do require a 12v supply to work on mains so it suggests as pointed out your transformer/charger is not working. These can fail & cost £100 upwards. Easy diy fit if you can do electrical work otherwise you will have to pay to get it fitted an hour or more labour cost.
Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm pretty sure you have checked the battery and connections, however, there is a fuse that in in-line with the red battery wire, separete from the others, but protecting the wire going to the rest of the fuses. It is often overlooked and should be about a foot up the wire from the battery. Mine just happens to be under the bed in the dark.
Well worth a look.
Dave.

Hi thanks for your reply think I've sorted it found the battery had only 6v in so placed on charge over night, its zn old car battery that's been in the battery box all through lock down and some, will invest in a leisure battery soon. Allso I've got one 10amp fuse missing, have worked out by pulling the fuses one by one what they work. can you tell me if the battery charger is fused through one of these. Ps it all started to work once I connected the battery, and think the fault with the pump was the surge damper screw it was right out.
