Hi, We live in Plymouth and have a Swift Accord caravan (think around 1998) does anyone know of anyone in this area who would service an old van as we’re finding it difficult finding anyone who will touch anything of this age? Thankyou

Hi, welcome to the forum. Have you tried looking at the MCEA website you should be able to find a mobile engineer that will do it for you, 1998 is not old as far as caravans go.

1998 isn't exactly that old as our previous caravan was a 1999 Coachman model. Initially we used a caravan workshop then changed to a mobile service engineer for convenience and lower cost but never had any problems getting it serviced.

The caravan I currently have is a 1992 model, and the one I had immediately before it was a 1988 model. I haven't so far had any problems with servicing. I used a mobile engineer who came to my home to do the last one.
