Hello folks.
Has anyone got any tips on how to rejuvenate the Al-Ko stabiliser handle to its pristine red condition. Mine has gone a grotty shade of pink over the years!
Thanks in advance,

Two problems cause visual deterioration, the plastic material itself oxidises on the surface and acquires usually a pale whitish appearance, and red pigment as used to colour the item is notorious for fading in sunlight.
In all honesty, it's probably impossible to return it to it's original vibrancy, but it may be possible to make it look a little less weathered with something like car dashboard/bumper rejuvinator normally used to improve the aged appearance of black plastic (it would obviously need to be one of the clear liquids not a black pigmented one!). Downside is that it may make the handle more slippery to grip, especially when wet.
Bit cautious of recommending too many treatments as don't know what plastic it's made from and some may do harm.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
As being trained by AL_KO, we were told that it was one of the biggest requests that a newer stabiliser was wanted, but not red as it fades. Similarly to red paint on the majority of things with sun bleach, nothing can be done apart from renew.
