Hi looking for some help. Installing a Thetford N4080 fridge, gas is going to be done by certified engineer. The 12 volt by myself.
So have 13 pin electrics and an autosensing split charge relay in car (no alternator wire required) all tested and working at car and van end.

At the fridge I understand the 12 vold low current supply for electronics ignition and lights. the 12v main feed I also understand however as I have no altenator wire what do I connect to the D+ terminal at the fridge?
Can i bridge the main 12 volt engine swithched supply to the D+ terminal also as D+ would then get +12v only when the engine is running. hope this makes sense.

I have done a similar installation, replacing a Dometic fridge with a Thetford equivalent. Everything works except 12v when towing. The Dometic had only four 12v connections whereas Thetford has five 12v connections. Can you help me?
