I've used Fenwicks Pipe and Tank Cleaner, seems to work pretty well, can be diluted and used as general purpose/food safe hard surface cleaner/disinfectant too (I use it in a trigger spray bottle), so cuts down on the number of product bottles you need to take with you.

if you get smells it probably means the blade seal has failed..

you can buy complete refesh packs.. new cassette and seat i think..

Bleach, ignore the scare mongering we've used it in our caravan cassette (8 years) and motorhome cassette (7 years so far) and not had any issues with seals/pipes or anything. Thetford will of course peddle their misleading advice as much as they can so you buy their products, I would too if I was them 😆

This is exactly what we use at the end of every trip and we have never had any unpleasant smells!
