I have a 2010 Bailey Pegasus 462. This year while we were away in it I noticed the curved corner of the thin plastic shower wall had started, for the first time, to develop the dreaded stress cracks. As a temporary measure I use some tent repair tape to seal the cracks so we could use the shower and this worked very well. Once we were home I started looking for a supplier of thin PVC sheet cut to size to do a repair myself. I wasn't prepared to pay for the entire shower wall to be replaced, partly due to the age of the van, but to be frank, I couldn't afford it. I decided to glue in a section of thin PVC over the top of curved corner. I found what I thought may be suitable from a company called cut plastics in Plymouth. It's a 1mm thick white PVC sheet called Trovidur which they will cut to size for you. I ordered a sample to check for colour match as the Trovidur is white but the wall in the shower is a bit of a creamy white. I found although it wasn't a perfect match I thought it would look quite reasonable. I spoke to someone at the company and he assured me this material would be perfectly suitable for repairing my shower wall and would be flexible enough to go round the corner which has a radius of about 165mm without heating. They do have a minimum order of £40 so I decided to order two pieces 1850x430 in case I mucked up the first one. I also added a pack of micro fibre cloths to build the total which came to £55.01 with free shipping. It arrived very quickly and very well packed. I smoothed the sharp edges with a fine file followed by a diamond file. It was stuck in place using Fixall High tack and looks pretty good IMO. Of course I've now got a spare piece if anyone's interested.

The first pic shows the sort of cracks I had, there were a few of these going down the length of the panel. The rest show the finished repair.
What a great idea! One of the things I love about this forum it’s all of the innovative ideas that people have, particularly about how to fix things. I would never in a million years have thought about that solution, but now it’s filed away in the back of my mind should I ever need it for the future!
Sincere apologies for redirecting an old thread but I've just suffered the self same problem with the shower in our Series 7 Pageant.
Have to say a massive thanks for this idea. I've just finished installing a sheet of Trovidor and I'm quite pleased with the results.
