Hi all, I am currently out camping and we have lost all lights, and 12v equipment. We have EHU and all the sockets seem to work fine, I’ve tested the battery and it’s pretty much dead, I’ve also tested it with the power on and on board charger on and still nothing. I’ve check the fuses and they all seem ok(checked with multimeter). Any help would be appreciated?

have you checked that your charger is turned on? if it is and still nothing then i suggest that its your charger that has gone, however as your away, if you can either buy or borrow a car battery charger that will put some power back in it for you or even ask one of your neighbours if they would put on their caravan and get it charged back up

Yes I agree with Marg6, it sounds like either your charger isn't switched on or it's not working.

Hi guys, I’ve checked it’s turned on as usual, switched over to van, but I’ve still got no voltage coming down to the battery. I thought it could be the charger, but thought I’d ask for some advice. Would any one know where to get one or where to get mine refurbished?

If you have the model number it might be worth trying ebay, unless anyone has any better ideas. That's certainly where I'd start. Alternatively a caravan breaker.

It’s a trauma blown air heating, it works on either gas or 240v

Most caravans/ motorhomes have an in line fuse between the battery and the charger unit, worth having a look
