Hi I have a 2010 Stirling Eccles Quartz caravan and the gas struts for the bed need replacing, the trouble is I can not find any gas struts that look like mine, any idea where I can buy these?

You will get what you need from this company shown in the link below. I have purchased from them as well as a few others who use this forum. All you need is the size strut you need then search for the corresponding gas strut on their website. Excellent customer service too may I add.

There should be a part number on your struts. SGS can cross reference this.

I have entered the number and found the gas strut minus the bracket. I will have to see if there is any way of removing the bracket as it seems daft that you can't just replace the strut without the bracket.

The round end of the strut has a ball socket inside which you just prize off the existing strut with a screwdriver or pair of pliers and then clip the new one onto the steel ball on the bracket. It was exactly the same principle when I replaced the gas struts on my roofbox as there were brackets both ends.
