I had a small accident with my Rapido last summer. The left wheel points outwards, I thionk the wheelarm is bent. Anyhow I'm lookíng for a complete axle. It is an ALKO-part, French ALKO!

Type=BT96210/276455d, BN=079-00, A=042420 04, 1000 kg
Distance between mountingplates 1350mm.

New or second-hand!

Have you tried Alko themselves? There can't be many of these around in the UK so chances of finding a used one would be very slim, I would try asking all the caravan breakers and Rapido dealers but I think you may be unlucky over here so perhaps widen your search to French sources as well.

Is this incident covered by your insurance?

Hi!

Yes, it is covered up to 50000 SEK. Above that I'll pay myself.
I tried with ALKO i Sweden, they checked that this axle was made by Alko France and not used on Swedish or German caravans. They used German Alko-parts instead.

I'm looking through German websites right now, my french is bad...

Hi

I think it is the same axle as used on the Trigano pop up caravans. These are now sold as Silver Caravans. So it is likely that the axle is still being produced. The axle might also be being used on Trailer tents.

Thanks. Just filled in the form for axles that do not match the current types in production. This old one is mounted from the side, 4 horizontal bolts. The new ones seems to be bolted with 2 vertical bolts.
So I hope they will be able to make it someway anyhow.

/Daniel
