You could try sanding one of them carefully with fine paper and see if the marks come off, if so revarnish. You can get coloured varnish to cover marks.
If bad an alternative might be sand, fill any scratches or dings and prime and paint. There are loads of different paint finishes available.
It really depends if they are wood veneer or photoveneer which is a plastic type material and possibly not able to be sanded.
