How long should it take to get up to a sufficient heat. I find it takes a long time.

It does take a while on the electricity selection but you can ramp the heat up quickly by selecting the gas option.

Definitely heats up much quicker on gas.

I find that the Alde system takes about 45 minutes to get the van up to a cosy temperature in winter. It is the first thing we switch on when we arrive on site and by the time we have done the rest of the setting up, everything is nice and cosy.

To heat up quickly use gas and electric. Electric on selection 3kw is actually about 2.8kw. Using gas it is the equivalent of almost 3.5kw.
